The Twin Cities is a national hub for youth media–there’s more youth filmmaking going on here than just about anywhere in the country. Best of all, youth media organizations work together so that aspiring filmmakers in different programs have opportunities to meet up, screen their work together and inspire each other. Some examples: the TCYMN annual youth media showcase, the Perpich Center Cinema showcase, and of course, the .EDU film fest in May.
Add to those opportunities ClubMedia! Beginning this Friday, Oct. 11, young Twin Cities filmmakers have another chance to meet up, share their work, network and have fun.
Here’s the plan:
5-6 pm pizza and social hour. After all, it’s a Friday night!
6-7 pm screening of recently produced shorts and works in progress–or any other short films someone wants to share.
