JuiceMedia has started final projects for the Fall term: documentaries.  The group was visited by independent documentarian Dawn Mikkelson (The Red Tail, In a Time of Trial) and senior TPT producer Daniel Bergin (Northstar: Minnesota’s Black Pioneers, Homeless Youth: Finding Home).  Both Dawn and Daniel had visited the group in the past few weeks to share some of their work, talk about their career in film and discuss their approaches to documentary storytelling.  This week they returned to listen to student pitches and give feedback.  Both were amazed at the fantastic stories emerging from the students projects!
