JuiceMedia Fall 2018 has begun! We have 17 super creative members this session and three awesome interns (Lily, Rachel, and Jacob). We spent the first week getting to know each other, the space, and our equipment by splitting up into groups, grabbing a few cannon vixias and tripods, and embarking on a filmmaking scavenger hunt. After filming, we headed into the editing lab to get acquainted with Premiere Pro. We imported, spliced, and added music. Ainsley, Baine, Jakobi, and Corey’s group added some fun music:

After exporting, we headed to the JuiceMedia room to screen the videos. Deshawn, Kelvin, Na’Riyah, and Liam went first:

We discussed which shots worked well and which we are excited to use in our next projects. Everybody enjoyed filming in the stairwell because of the cool blue light that bounced off of the white walls. Steven, Teah, and Elliot made a suspenseful edit to their video:
